Hey guys! It's been a while! Just thought I'd give a little update on what I've been up to.

Hm! Well...I've been working at a kebab shop at my local shopping centre since November, so that's been alright.
I went to Melbourne 2 or so weeks ago to visit friends and I went to my friend 's wedding! that was so nice!
Whilst I was down in Melbourne, I'm sure some of you might've seen, but about 75% of Queensland was affected by a massive flood! I missed the whole thing whilst in Melbourne. The waters missed my house by about 50 metres...so my family was lucky. But some weren't so lucky. It was so horrible to see, people just throwing away ALL their furniture, knocking down their walls, cos everything was ruined by the water. It's insane what rain can cause. So yeah, that was that.
OH, I got a new camera, a Canon 500D, so I've been taking photos with that. It's been fun learning the features and experimenting. I went to a wildlife sanctuary on the weekend with my boyfriend and I took some pretty cool shots there. Can't wait to share them
I will still continue to do my traditional art though, like drawing..painting...etc. But now photography too It's always good to shake things up a little!
OH, one last thing, I got into the university course I wanted! So I will be studying for 4 years, full time, to become a primary school teacher! Whoo!

Why hello there!

Just wanted to say sorry for the inactivity lately! I actually got a job, which I've been so busy with....it's an on/off job. But when I do get called in, it's usually for about two weeks straight, which means working 5 days a week, 6am to 2pm. So I've been sleeping a lot...
and I've got a boyfriend now! So I've been spending time with him when I'm not working.
I've really wanted to get that Doctor Who portrait done. I've done more on it. But I'd love to post the finished thing. I'm not working right now so maybe I'll get some more done!
Sorry if I take a bit of time to reply to comments and stuff too. I do get there though, perhaps a few days after! But I haven't forgotten you guys!

One last thing. Please, if you have time, go check out my friend 's recent work. He's been working on this huge project for years now, and he's finally feeling like he's getting somewhere with it. He's basically a genius, and I think he'd appreciate any feedback immensely! I know my audience isn't huge, but I thought I'd see if I could help. I appreciate you all!

Hey everyone!
Firstly I'd like to thank you guys for all the support I've had, especially lately! It's amazing and so overwhelming! And welcome to my new watchers! Even if some of you never comment or anything, but just watch from afar, I appreciate your interest in my work immensely!

Now...the purpose of this journal update is to IMPLORE you all to PLEASE please be careful when driving, please! The reason I say this is because yesterday I was in a car accident. I'm currently a learner driver, so I need a supervisor. I've been driving for about five months now.
I was driving around with my mother trying to get minutes up, because Learners need 100 hours before we can get our Provisional License. Anyway, we were driving around, and reached a cross intersection. For some stupid reason I didn't see the stop sign, and drove straight through into the cross section. And crashed into a car driving from the left. The car I was in spun right around, and the other car swerved and JUST stopped before hitting a pole. It is one of the scariest things I have ever experienced!! I was shaking and am so suprised I didn't faint from shock. The front of the car I was driving is completely smashed, and the other lady's car has a dent on the side. Thank goodness no one was killed. I've got some major bruising, and an imprint of the seat belt on my chest, and it hurts to move, and my mother is a bit sore. And the lady in the other car is a bit battered and bruised too. I can't believe how lucky we are!! There were police and ambulance, and my goodness. I am so glad no one was seriously hurt. I wasn't speeding or being reckless. I've been driving quite well! I didn't know the area too well, and it was just a stupid mistake, I didn't see the stop sign. I take full responsibility of course. I'm just really really thankful we got out of that with only bruises. I couldn't sleep last night cos I was so sore, and cos I felt so guilty and terrible and wowwwww it was CRAZY, man. When I woke up I hoped it was just a terrible nightmare.

Please everyone, take EXTRA care of yourselves when driving. Cars aren't toys, they're dangerous machines. And when they crash into each other, it's life or death! I'm so nervous to drive now, and my mother is a bit too. I'm sure that lady is as well. Such an inconveniance for her! Far out. Please please be careful out there!

Now onto a lighter topic I think! I've been looking for a job for a while now, since I'm going to uni only next year.  And it seems I finally have a chance! I'm going to an induction tomorrow, to work at a factory that organises all the meat sold at Woolworths. It doesn't sound like the best job, but it's better than absolutely nothing, and the pay isn't bad! My dad actually works there as an electrician, so I might see him during the day! Haha, I find that a bit funny. I hope I get this, then I can help pay whatever costs come out of this car accident as well.

I've ordered a time turner replica online, from Harry Potter! I'm so excited. I'm going to get a sonic screwdriver from Doctor Who soon as well. I wanted to yeeeaaars ago. But Australia isn't the best place to find all these cool gadgets and gizmos. So it looks like eBay for me! Wow, thinking about buying things like this after having such a scary accident puts things in perspective. I think this will be in the back of my mind for a while!
